SDA is the acronym for ”Scuba Diver Assistant” a refinement of the dive computer. The uemis ZURICH is an innovative product offering a variety of new features, not only for specialists and passionate divers. A Swiss product. Developed by experts who have participated in the development of several dive computers and who are all passionate divers. Get to know the SDA, its outstanding qualities and advantages, and its easy operation.

Display during the Dive:
The no stop time data screen shows the most important information in three large digits: depth, remaining gas time (RGT) and no stop time.
Display remaining no stop time
Once the no stop time is less than 6.5 minutes, an additional bar graph appears at the right side of the display indicating the remaining no stop time. If the no stop time drops below 3 minutes, the bar is represented in orange.
Display depth, gas time and no stop time
The no stop time data screen shows the most important information in three large digits: depth, remaining gas time (RGT) and no stop time. Other data is shown in small digits: user name, dive time, temperature, gas, and tank pressure.
DEPTH-RGT and SAFETY STOP
At depths between 0m and twice the safety stop, the previously defined safety stop is displayed instead of the no stop time. The vertical position of the depth depends on the difference remaining until the safety stop is reached. For an optimum safety stop the two broad bars DEPTH-RGT and SAFETY STOP should be on the same level. The yellow field in the bar graph at the right side of the screen indicates the position of the diver in the stop area.
Warning and alarms:
Exceed maximum depth
Once the maximum depth is exceeded, a warning message appears, indicating the current depth and the maximum depth. The vertical position of the depth depends on by how much the maximum depth is exceeded. This warning must be confirmed with ”OK” Then, the normal dive data screen is shown again.
Display Slow Down
Once the ascent time is exceeded by more than 150%, the alarm screen is displayed showing the current depth and the next stop depth (deco stop or safety stop). The vertical position of the depth depends on the difference remaining until the stop is reached. The standard dive data screen is shown again once the ascent speed is reduced to below 150%.
Decostop Violation
If the diver continues to ascend, an alarm appears showing the current depth and the decompression depth. The vertical position of the current depth depends on by how much the decompression depth is undercut. The standard dive data screen appears once the diver descends to authorized depth.
Zusatz Anzeigen/ Informationen während des Tauchgangs:
Breathing
Additional information is available via the “next” key. When using a tank pressure transmitter, the current gas consumption can be displayed. Gas consumption is calculated for 1.000 hPa pressure.
Tank Pressure
Additional information is available via the “next” key. When using a tank pressure transmitter, a finimeter can be displayed. Standard tank pressure is defined at 20° (68°F).
Physio
Additional information is available via the “next” key. The current physiological parameters of the model (micro bubbles, skin cooling and workload) can be displayed. These parameters influence the inert gas saturation and the oversaturation tolerances of the tissue and therefore also the no stop time and decompression stages.
Tissue Saturation
Additional information is available via the “next” key. This screen shows the current relative inert gas saturation of the tissue (saturation rate in relation to the tolerance value for the relevant pressure in %). Tissues represented in green are desaturating, i.e. releasing dissolved nitrogen. Tissues in orange are saturating.
Logbook / USB-interface / synchronisation
Information on the time to desaturation, the no fly time, waiting time until the next dive, maximum height above sea level, and battery charge.
- Viewing and editing logbook (select dive spot and buddy, etc.)
- Connection to myUemis
- Synchronisation (dive spots, contacts and checklists, etc.)
Tank Pressure Transmitter
The tank pressure sensor which is connected to the first stage high pressure port transmits the tank pressure to the SDA uemis ZURICH. The SDA can monitor up to three different tanks and calculate the individual gas mixes.
- Maximum pressure: 350 bar
- Range of application: all gas mixes
- Battery: CR2 Lithium, user replaceable
- Color: black
We really like to show you all the functions and details of the SDA at our shop. If you like to order this computer in advance we can offer the uemis SDA for only 1.400 USD (949 EUR). Resort guests of the Tropical Inn Resorts are paying also only 1.400 USD (949 EUR).
